scrap-03 — Two Stops Past My Own
Was: Platform name written as Senja Link.
Now: Senja LRT stop — link was transposed from a road sign.
This page exists because notebooks lie in small ways — a bus number transposed, a stall name softened by memory, a Tuesday remembered as Wednesday. I fix them when someone tells me or when I notice on a reread.
Nothing here is dramatic. These are the ordinary errors of one person writing late about a neighbourhood he walks daily. If you see another, email [email protected] and I will add a row.
Each entry shows what the note said, what it says now, and when I corrected it. Past dates only — this is not a live feed of mistakes as they happen.
Was: Platform name written as Senja Link.
Now: Senja LRT stop — link was transposed from a road sign.
Was: Called the path Zhenghua Park Connector throughout.
Now: Zhenghua Nature Park connector — sign uses Nature Park.
Was: Stall named as Ah Seng Kopi.
Now: Uncle runs the stall but the sign reads Tong Ah — habit name removed.
Was: Scrap-04 date shown as 4 Apr 2026 (Tuesday).
Now: 3 Apr 2026 (Friday) — calendar misread during a late edit.
Was: Bus service 700 mentioned passing the void deck.
Now: Service 700 does not pass this deck — removed bus reference entirely.
Was: Friend described as living on Chin Swee Road.
Now: Friend lives near Outram MRT — Chin Swee was the walk route, not the address.
This notebook belongs to one person. What you read here is drawn from evenings, walks and ordinary rooms — not from a newsroom or a consultancy. These lines are impressions, not instruction. When a note mentions something serious that happened within earshot, I stay with what reached me and what I still cannot verify. Tell me if a detail is wrong; I keep a corrections page for exactly that.
Approximate neighbourhood — not the flat door.
