Word Craft is a personal blog kept by Jun from a Bukit Panjang flat. This page describes, in straightforward language, what happens to information when you read wordcraftpro.pro — framed for a small non-commercial notebook rather than a corporate platform.

There is no contact form anywhere on this site. I do not collect messages through the browser, and nothing you read here asks you to submit fields. If you write to [email protected], that correspondence stays in my personal inbox until I delete it myself.

Standard hosting logs record the IP address, user agent, requested URL and time of each visit. I consult logs only when something breaks or when I need to confirm a traffic spike is benign. Logs are not linked to cookie preferences and are not used to build profiles.

A bottom cookie strip lets you accept, reject or customise categories. Essential storage remembers your decision for roughly six months. Functional cookies control whether Google Maps iframes load; analytics cookies are offered but not used in this build. Choices mirror to localStorage when cookies are blocked.

Maps on every page show Bukit Panjang / Petir / Zhenghua at neighbourhood zoom — approximate, not a door-step pin. Rejecting functional cookies leaves a quiet placeholder the same size as the map frame, with a button to load the embed for that session. I do not sell data, operate mailing lists or run remarketing tags. There are no comment widgets, no social sign-in and no client portals. This notebook is not a business front — no rates, no packages, no hire-me language.

Images are local files under /images/, slightly desaturated to sit comfortably on dark pages. External hotlinks are not used.

Younger readers should approach the Chin Swee memory note with care; it stays with what one person noticed from a distance, without speculation about others.

Email me if you want a log entry corrected or a message deleted. Beyond that, the site stores only what your browser keeps for consent.

Hosted independently from a residential address — not a company site, not a registry listing.

Data minimisation is the default because the site has nothing to sell. There are no accounts to delete beyond an email you sent me directly.

Server logs may include IP addresses for a short retention window set by the host. I do not combine logs with cookie choices or attempt to identify individual readers.

Children and teens should read with a guardian if a note feels unsettling. The Chin Swee memory describes uncertainty from a distance rather than reporting.

Cross-border transfers may occur if the host or Google processes data outside Singapore. I choose vendors with standard contractual protections where available.

You may ask what I hold about you. The honest answer is usually very little beyond an email thread you started.

Changes to structure — new pages, different map behaviour — will be reflected here and in the footer build date.

The cookie banner uses buttons, not form fields. Saving choices writes JSON to sg_blog_consent and may mirror to localStorage.

Functional cookies gate map iframes only. Rejecting them shows placeholders equal in size to the map frames so layout does not jump.

Analytics toggles exist for completeness but no analytics scripts load in this build regardless of the switch.

Google Maps may process technical data when an iframe loads. I do not receive a copy of that exchange and do not repackage it.

Email correspondence is stored in my personal mailbox until I delete it. It is not added to a customer database.

Photographs are saved under /images/ on this domain at build time. No third-party image CDNs load at runtime.

Accessibility: maps include title attributes unique per page; images include alt text describing scene rather than filename.

Security: the site is static HTML with no server-side visitor input handlers. Attack surface is intentionally small.

Retention summary — consent cookie about six months; server logs per host policy; emails until manually deleted.

Complaints about privacy may be sent to [email protected]. I respond in plain language without legal theatre.

This notice last reviewed on the build date shown in the footer. Material changes will appear here first.

Third-party links are avoided. Navigation stays inside this domain except for map embeds and font files from Google Fonts.

No automated decision-making, no profiling, no remarketing pixels, no social login — by design, not oversight.

Lawful basis for processing is legitimate interest in operating a small personal site and responding to direct email.

International readers may access the site; the author writes from Singapore and describes local places accordingly.

If hosting moves, this notice updates with the new provider name once confirmed.

Backup copies of the static files may exist on my local machine for rebuild purposes only — not for sale.

Error logs exclude visitor message content because there is no message capture mechanism.

Screen reader users: article structure uses headings in order; decorative classes do not replace semantic tags in rendered HTML.

I do not participate in advertising programmes on these pages; there are no ad pixels to disclose beyond maps.

Session replay tools are not installed. The site does not record mouse movement or keystrokes.

Corporate clients and agencies should not expect NDAs or procurement portals — this is a residential notebook.

Deletion requests for email threads are honoured when practicable unless I need a record of a factual correction.

Browser do-not-track signals are noted but not relied upon because maps require explicit functional consent anyway.

Open-source fonts from Google may log IP addresses per their policies; only weights used on this site are loaded.

I do not watermark images or track downloads; files are static and identical for every visitor.

Incident response for this site is manual: if a host notifies me of abuse, I take the site offline until reviewed.

Your ISP and browser vendor may process data independently of me; their notices apply separately.

Printed copies of pages lose cookie context; maps on paper are not interactive and this notice still applies online.

Language of correspondence for privacy questions is English; I reply in the same language you write.

No biometric data is collected because there is no camera access, no voice capture, no fingerprint login.

Aggregated statistics are not computed from server logs for publication or sharing.

Widgets that could leak referrers to social networks are intentionally absent from every template.

If laws change, this page updates in plain language rather than importing opaque policy blocks unchanged.
